North Facing Windows!
Look at the progress!!! Next up is painting, then floors, cabinets, counters, light fixtures and plumbing.
Estimated completion date: end of April.
Stay tuned for Open House dates and new paintings as they come off the easel, albeit somewhat slowly right now.
Meanwhile, I launched my Facebook art business page over the weekend. Please take a look and follow along!

P.S. I continue to realize there is a whole lot more to painting than painting...

Welcome to the entrance of Lacanda Del Molino, a small restaurant where Frank and I dined our second evening in Italy. As we crossed the threshold I was not sure where we were headed, as it did not appear to be a restaurant at all. Imagine our delight when we ended up on a back porch, nestled high amongst the trees and overlooking Esse Creek. The setting was lovely, quaint and quiet - just what we needed after traveling almost 24 hours to reach Cortona. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool September evening and the serene ambience that embraced us!
This is the second painting in my Tuscany series and depicts a building likely more than 500 years old. I was fascinated by the architecture, the slate walkways worn with age, the building's weathered stone exterior and the heavy wooden doors at the entrance. We saw this scene everywhere we traveled in Tuscany!
Painting Specifics:
Medium: Oil on Linen
Size: 12x16
Cost: $950 plus tax and shipping
(I am also happy to help you select a custom frame too!)
